Helping Ukraine

Child-TRAC strives to help children in war situations.

 

Children who have had to flee their own country and children who live with constant fear and insecurity.  We offer help to these vulnerable children, in collaboration with the grassroot organisations who can offer the help that is so urgently needed.

In a crisis, such as the one that has arisen in Ukraine, we prioritise to provide support and essential supplies in a way that gets straight to the families in need. Our assistance currently provides local provision of the most requested items and goods; bedding, sleeping bags, diapers (nappies) and baby / toddler food.

The war developing in Ukraine is worrying for all of us, and Child-TRAC will strive to make sure that we do our bit, whenever possible. All donations made by you will be passed directly to those who need it, so rest assured that each contribution is being used for good.

***UPDATE***
 We have been blown away by everyone's response and generosity. Thanks to you, we have surpassed our previous goal of raising money for this week's trip to Ukraine to deliver much-needed supplies.

 

We are closely monitoring the situation so that we can respond to evolving needs. We are in direct contact with our network of volunteers and on-the-ground contacts who provide assistance and support to those fleeing as well as those fighting for Ukraine. That's why we decided to leave the GetFunded campaign open, because other stuff will have to be brought soon. All proceeds go to Ukraine, everyone who participates in this campaign works as a volunteer.
